The Seafood Diet

Wow what a day! We got picked up early by our new friends Randy & Cameron who have been living on San Pedro for a year and have a boat!! We went snorkelling at Hol Chan and saw some great beasts of the sea, including a huge eagle ray that so gracefully swam by us so slowly - the pattern on its back was so vivid, bit like a retro 70s curtain pattern!

Then we had a beachfront lunch, and went out to an area called Coral Gardens which has a type of coral called Elk Horn Coral... the clue is in the title... looks like elk horns sticking out of the sand.
This is where the spear fishing takes place!

They managed to catch between them, 2 lobsters, 3 huge spider crabs and some fish! So tonight we had a feast for dinner, crabs and lobsters coming out of our ears and spring rolls which was a random addition!

Here crabby crabby...

Messy business!

Even Bella appreciated the catch!

So far every night this week we've had freshly caught fish thanks to Brett and the boys tonight, there's just nothing else like it... well done boys!

Well done boys!
