So its been an eventful couple of weeks! We said goodbye to Mallika, the sun came back and the col front moved on, we moved into our new house, and our new niece arrived this week - little Ava Rose who we can't wait to see!

Brett went to Ladyville on the mainland where the assembly hall and missonary home are and helped out on some missionary repairs for a few days. I stayed back with another sister whose husband went with Brett and we had a great few days doing studies and doing all things girly - she's a brilliant cook so as soon as we woke up in the mornings the first topic of convo was 'so what are we going to cook tonight' - thats when I knew we'd be friends! While we were eating well, the boys were in Ladyville eating Chinese - the only dreaded thing to eat there it seems!!! They had a great time though and came back tired but very happy!
Ministry continues to amaze me - most days this week have been back to back studies... even yesterday I met up with Brett after ministry and we went to get our passports stamped for immigration - we have to do it every month. So the man asked us why we were here and Brett said we were Witnesses and he said... so is it true Jehovah's Witnesses don't believe in the Trinity? So we were there an hour talking to him, and letting the Bible answer his question - we left him with the magazine about the myths of Christianity - but he had so many questions! So even when you're not specifically trying to find people to talk to, they come to you! Its fantastic, and really sharpens your skills when it comes to using the Bible to reason. In the end we didn't get our passports stamped as it ran out Monday not Saturday as we thought so we'll be back to see him then!

We both have colds at the moment, and last night I felt awful... lemsips are helping though - a little taste of home - even when its medicine is so nice! We're going to Caye Caulker on Sunday as Brett is giving the talk - so we'll be going back to the pink Kingdom Hall! Brett went last week to help out with their Service meeting and School as there is only one brother there, and there were 9 people there - so better have our answers well prepared for the Watchtower!!
Love to all - some pics over the last 2 weeks below.

Breakfast Tacos at Neri's in the golf cart

when it rained our walk to the service group at the Hall in the mornings was like an assault course - this picture shows it a hundred times better than what it was like most mornings Mallika was here!

our favourite breakfast place on the beach - coffee & a bagel for £1.50 and they make delicious rum cake which we got free when we gave the owners some fresh snapper that Brett caught!
